Going Rogue with the Kid Brother

Alan was drafted in to join the Rogue Agents crew from the On Her Majesty’s Secret Podcast to discuss the oddity that is Operation Kid Brother aka O.K. Connery, aka many other titles.

How did M, Moneypenny, several Bond villains, and others end up in this 1967 Italian spoof featuring Sean’s brother, Neil Connery? What did we think of it, and just how much do they Rogue Agents crew owe Alan for putting up with this nonsense?

Tune in HERE to find out.

Waiting for Mr. Bond

We are all aware of the seemingly increasing gap between Bond movies, especially as we wait for the eventual release of No Time To Die. While doing some research for an article I put together this visualization to compare the historical gaps between the EON produced Bond movies.

A few things that stood out to me:

  • The release schedule of the early Connery movies wasn’t as consistent as I’d thought.
  • The shortest wait has been 7 months (Between From Russia With Love and Goldfinger), and the longest will be 5 years assuming No Time To Die is actually released in November 2020.
  • The Roger Moore era was the most consistent in terms of a release cadence.
  • What we think of as the “traditional” November release date is far from traditional with movies being released in January (2), May (3), June (4), July (3), November (7) and December (5). – The November release date “tradition” only started with Goldeneye.

You can check out what we thought HERE.
