On the latest episode of Bond Music: 6 of the Best co-hosts Alan J. Porter & Jarrod Alberich, review the A VIEW TO A KILL soundtrack. What will the boys make of the final Moore soundtrack? What does Duran Duran’s own John Taylor have to say about this song? Does John Barry still have what it takes to make s 007 soundtrack? (Hint: yes.)

OHMS Pod visits Casino Royale – Twice

Whether parachuting alongside Native Americans into a casino, playing their heavenly harps, or hanging out with “Jimmy Bond,” Alan and Van are having an… interesting… time discussing the 1954 and 1967 productions of CASINO ROYALE in the latest OHMS Podcast movie review episode.

Tune in and listen HERE.

Bond Music: Six of the Best listens to Never Say Never Again

This episode’s session is all about NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN. Alan has the lead on this episode and the lads will provide factoids and discussion on the main title song, 6 of their favorite tracks (hence the title of the podcast), and a bonus remix…maybe more!  The numbering scheme is always subject to chaotic change!

What will the boys make of the non-EON soundtrack? What did Bonnie Tyler think? And will the lads be able to find some gems in this not-terribly-well-thought-of score?

Bond Music: Six of the Best reviews Octopussy

This episode’s session is all about OCTOPUSSY. Jarrod has the lead on this episode and the lads will provide factoids and discussion on the main title song, 6 of their favorite tracks (hence the title of the podcast), and a bonus remix…maybe more!

What will the boys make of John Barry’s return? Who the heck is Lara Brannigan? Will Alan get invited to dinner with Maud Adams?

James Bond Radio – The Return

I was delighted to be invited back to James Bond Radio recently to chat with host Jack Lugo about the recent Bond comics from Dynamite Comics, our recent trip to Goldeneye, and the work restoring vehicles and props for the Ian Fleming Foundation.

You can check out the wide-ranging conversation HERE.

OHMSPod goes unofficial with a review of Never Say Never Again

Alan is wearing his best toupee, and Van is rounding up all the free radicals, so it must be time to review NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN, Sean Connery’s 1983 return to the role of James Bond and a sort-of remake of THUNDERBALL!

You can check out what we thought HERE.

Bond Music: Six of the Best is For Your Eyes Only

This episode of Bond Music: 6 of the Best is all about FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. Alan has the lead on this episode and the lads will provide factoids and discussion on the main title song, 6 of their favorite tracks (hence the title of the podcast), and a bonus remix…maybe more!  The numbering scheme is always subject to chaotic change!

What will the boys make of Bill Conti’s efforts? What happened in the 007 world at the 1982 Oscar ceremony? Will your hosts be able to make it last all night? Yikes!

—  Tune in & find out!

Bond Music: Six of the Best reviews Moonraker (with a special guest).

This time around co-hosts Alan J. Porter & Jarrod Alberich, are joined by a special co-host on loan from “The 00 Files” podcast – Don Zuiderman!

This episode’s session is all about MOONRAKER. Jarrod has the lead on this episode – but he kindly handed his picks over to Don – the lads will provide factoids and discussion on the main title song, 6 of their favorite tracks (hence the title of the podcast), and a bonus remix…maybe more!

Have we finally found the shortest 007 soundtrack? Will we get the definition behind the meaning of “six of the best?” Maybe even the definition of what a “moonraker” is?

Tune in & find out!

OHMSPod reviews SKYFALL

Mommy has been very bad, and Alan J Porter and Van Allen Plexico are trapped like two rats on a deserted island, so it must be time to talk about the 23rd James Bond film from EON, released on the 50th anniversary of the franchise–2012’s SKYFALL!

23rd in a monthly series reviewing the entire James Bond series, leading up to the release of Bond 25.

You can find out just why Alan is less than impressed by Skyfall’s antics HERE.
