ULYANKA FACTORY KITCHEN – A central kitchen and dining facility built to feed 12,000 workers, 2,000 at a time, from the various industrial complexes around the Soviet town of Ulyanka. After it fell into disuse was requisitioned by the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, and became known locally as “The Institute”.  It was assigned to a secret department under the command of Colonel Boris, exploring the field of psycho-politics.
