- Plot: Living up to the “extortion” part of their name, SPECTRE offers the British Secret Service information about a plot against the new nuclear powered airship The Golden Ghost. Their price? One million pounds and James Bond as hostage. Bond agrees and goes to Cannes to meet his SPECTRE contact. The SPECTRE agent is killed and tries to leave Bond a clue to the plot. Following various clues Bond eventually gets himself a place on the airship’s maiden voyage. All the passengers are drugged and awake to find themselves and the airship held hostage on a deserted island by Felix Bruhl, another SPECTRE agent. Bruhl throws Bond to the sharks as an example, but using a concealed knife Bond escapes. Bond and Bruhl eventually face off in a brutal battle on board the airborne ship from which Bruhl falls to his death [GGHOSTcs].
Fear Face

- Plot: Briony Thorne, the former 0013 and Bond’s former lover, returns to London where she is suspected of having been turned by the Chinese secret service. Thorne declares her innocence but the only person who believes her is Bond. She claims to have been framed by a man names Kress who has connections to Magnus Mining and someone called Lambert. Their investigations uncover that Lambert has perfected a series of faceless robots and that they plan to use them to set up a fake robery of maps of ore strikes that Magnus’ company have found, he won’t profit from them and wants to sell the maps. However, one of the robots has killed a stripper, and Kress is using that as leverage to sell the plans to whichever foreign power will pay the most [FFcs].
Double Jeopardy

Bond is assigned to investigate the shooting and the blackmailer is revealed as an agent of SPECTRE. Bond’s investigations lead him to Morocco where he uncovers SPECTRE’s plans to replace certain key people with surgically altered body doubles [DJcs].
Starfire

- Plot: Several people who have openly criticized “Lord Astro” the leader of a hippie cult, are mysteriously killed by fireballs that seem to be called down from the skies. One of the people killed is a CIA agent, so Bond is assigned to investigate. The investigations lead him to an electronics expert named Quantrill who seems to have some connection to each victim. It turns out that Quantrill had once sold secrets to the Russians and is now a SPECTRE operative. Bond trails Quantrill to a family party and manages to lure him outside and plant one of Quantrill’s own homing devices, used to summon the deadly fireballs, which are a radio controlled toy plane with a fluorescent helium balloon containing devices on top, on him [STARFcs].
Trouble Spot

- Plot: Bond has been set on the trail of a mysterious box and impersonates an agent called Mike Channing to try and track it down. Channing’s girlfriend reveals that she believes Channing’s blind wife may have it. They head for California in search of Mrs. Channing, closely pursued by a Russian commissar who also wants the box. Bond decides to try and convince Folly Channing that he is her husband by imitating his voice as she was blind when she married. The only positive identification he has for Mrs. Channing is a birthmark on her backside. Luckily for Bond, Folly Channing lives in a nudist colony! After convincing Folly that he is her husband, Bond recovers the box only to be confronted by the Russian. A shoot out occurs and Bond kills the commissar. The box turns out to contain the skull of a Russian double agent as proof of his death [TScs].
Isle of Condors

- Plot: While in Italy on the trail of a Belgian woman who stole NATO secrets, Bond encounters a nude woman on horseback who claims she is escaping kidnappers. Amazingly Bond returns her to the villa where she claims she was being held prisoner and is then promptly drugged by its owners, the Gallews. Searching Bond’s papers, the Gallews find a photo of the Belgian female spy. Panicked, they head for the nearby island of a man called Uccelli who runs a school for female spies. One downside to the school is that after completing a mission the girls are fed alive to Uccelli’s pet condors. In the show down confrontation, Bond manages to spray Uccelli with the homing scent he uses to attract the birds, and leaves him to his fate [IOCcs].
League of Vampires

- Plot: A vampire cult that is growing across Europe seems to be linked to a series of mysterious deaths, including one of an MI6 agent. MI6 are alerted by shipping magnate Xerxes Xerophanos that his wife may be in the process of being recruited by the vampire cult. Bond infiltrates a cult ceremony where Margo Xerophanos is to be the victim. Bond deciphers that Xerxes is behind the cult and is trying to get her killed so he can inherit her fortune. He also plans to kill off her father using a tactical nuclear missile launched from one of his ships. Bond manages to persuade the crew to mutiny, foiling the plan [LOVcs].
Die With My Boots On

The Girl Machine

- Plot: Britain wishes to install the Emir of Hajar on the throne and overthrow his uncle in order to secure oil rights. However the Secret Service must first find out where the Emir is being held. Clues lead Bond to a man called Rashid in Las Palmas, but he is killed before 007 can get information from him. Bond then tries Rashid’s sister who turns out to be one of the wives of the regent holding the Emir. Bond is smuggled into Hajar in the titular, girl machine, a large cabinet filled with scents, alcohol and blue movies that was meant to be a bribe for the regent. Bond eventually contacts Rashid’s sister, rescues the Emir and the three flee for the border [GIRLMcs].
Beware Of Butterflies

- Plot: Bond and new 00 agent Suzi Kew are assigned to kill an agent of the Butterfly spy network in Paris, which they do. On leave in Jamaica afterwards, Bond is kidnapped and brain washed. Suzi Kew is assigned to go after Bond and finds him amnesiac in Jamaica. His memory restored by the Secret Service, he infiltrates the Butterfly network and kills Attila, the head of the network [BOBcs].
Nevsky Nude

- Plot: MI6 receive a tip off about something called “Operation Nevsky.” Following the lead Bond arrives in Sussex where he is surprised by a nude woman descending in a parachute. The woman and a Russian agent are killed in an exchange of gun fire. Shortly afterwards a renegade aristocrat claims to broadcast a message from King Arthur and ghostly knights are seen in Cornwall. It all turns out to be a SMERSH backed plot to kidnap the Secretary of State for Defence and hustle him away via submarine [NNcs].
The Phoenix Project

- Plot: The Phoenix Project is a new suit of armor that will render the wearer impenetrable to bullets, grenades or fire. During a test it goes wrong and the wearer is killed. Investigations lead Bond to Istanbul and an arms dealer named Kazim. Bond manages to work his way into Kazim’s inner circle before his cover is blown and he has to escape using a fully functioning version of The Phoenix Project armor [PPROJcs].
The Black Ruby Caper

- Plot: Bond is sent after a bomber called Herr Rubin, aka Mr. Ruby, and tricks Ruby into believing that his girlfriend is helping Bond. Ruby escapes and resurfaces in Ghana where he has recruited a sculptor named Roscoe Carver, who had once been hunted by the FBI, to build a hollow statue in which Ruby can plant another bomb. Carver’s daughter and a beautiful model team up to help Bond by luring Ruby into a trap where Bond kills him by pouring molten metal over him [BRCcs].
Till Death Do Us Part

Torch Time Affair

- Plot: Bond is sent to locate agent Tim Hurst who is meant to be in possession of Torch-Time, a document time tabling various subversive acts. The trail leads to a deserted beach in Acapulco where, instead of Hurst, he finds a woman buried in the sand up to her neck. Bond resuces the woman, Carmen Perez, who says she was lured to the beach by a known SMERSH agent. Hurst’s body turns up in Mexico City along with an empty tape recorder. Various clues lead Bond to realize that Carmen is an enemy agent also after the tape [TTAcs].
Hot Shot

- Plot: Bond teams up with Fatima Khalid, a Palestinian freedom fighter, to investigate the Elbis terrorist group who appear to be responsible for several aircraft midair explosions. The Elbis group is lead by a man known only as Huliraya. Huliraya means King Tiger and a string of tiger themed deaths lead Bond and Fatima to uncover the truth – Huliraya is in fact Dr. Julius No! Dr. No plans to use a giant parabolic mirror that can focus the sun’s rays to destroy a plane carrying the US Secretary of State. The ray-gun is mounted on board a super tanker, but Bond gets on board and destroys the tanker before the weapon can be fired [HScs].
Nightbird

- Plot: An old girl friend of Bond’s is apparently kidnapped by “Martians” and killed before a ransom can be paid. Bond eventually traces the various clues to film producer Ferdinand Polgar. Bond befriends Polgar’s girl friend who leads him to the producer’s villa on Sardinia where the kidnap victims are being held [NBRDcs].
Ape of Diamonds

Another ape kidnaps an Arab dignitary in London and Bond is assigned to find out what’s going on. The woman in the film is identified and Bond travels to Egypt to ask questions at the game park where she worked. Here he meets the woman’s sister who admits she uses trained gorillas to assassinate people, and Bond offers her a job!! [AODcs].

When The Wizard Wakes

It transpires that the Mafia is trying to convince the Hungarian government that the traitor is still alive and has smuggled the Crown of St. Stephen out of Hungary. The truth is that the real Crown is being held by the CIA in Fort Knox, but the CIA can’t tell the Hungarians because SPECTRE has threatened to release a list of CIA agents in Hungary to the Russians if they do [WTWWcs].
Sea Dragon

The Xanadu Connection

- Plot: The Doomcrack is a sonic weapon with the ability to topple buildings. Bond is initially assigned to bring it back to Britain, but it is stolen and various international landmarks are threatened. Bond believes that SPECTRE is back in action. Bond is set up to look like he has been stealing secrets from MI6 so he can appear to have “turned.” He eventually works his way on to SPECTRE’s submarine base where he eventually meets Madame Spectra. Bond uses a new improved version of the Doomcrack weapon to destroy the submarine and escape [DCRKcs].
The Paradise Plot

- Plot: Two industrialists appear to be visited by their dead children and all the clues lead to a cult leader known as Father Star. Bond learns that Star uses a nuclear powered airship to attack his enemies, has managed to gain control of a US spy plane by brain washing its pilot, and is building a private army! [PPLOTcs].
Deathmask

- Plot: A series of mysterious deaths are linked to a fast acting virus that leaves the face swollen, and one of the corpses is found holding a Greek deathmask. The trail of clues leads Bond to Crete where he finds a secret cavern marked with the deathmask. The cavern blows up before he can investigate further. The deathmask is connected to the industrialist Ivor Nyborg. Nyborg has genetically engineered the new virus which he intends to spread around the world using his robotic plane, the Global Ghost, but Bond manages to gain control of the plane and crash it into Nyborg’s headquarters [DMSKcs].
Flittermouse

Cat orders the captured Bond to strip but Bond manages to shot him with a gun concealed in the medallion he is wearing around his neck! [FMcs].
Polestar

- Plot: A giant snake attacks Moneypenny and a village in Cornwall. Bond’s investigations lead him to a girl called Freya who claims to be a reincarnation of the Norse goddess. Freya is in fact being controlled by a villain named Vidyala who plans to use his giant snake to attack the British Navy [SGcs].
