SOLO (2013) – Shortly after his forty-fifth birthday, Bond is assigned by M to protect British interests in the civil war raging in the African country of Zanzarim by eliminating the rebel military leader. The military leader appears to die of natural causes before Bond can intervene. However he figures out a way to undermine the rebel army’s morale and effectively stops the war, but is gravely wounded in the process. Believing he has been betrayed and that his mission was part of a larger conspiracy Bond uses his recuperation time to “go solo” on a mission to uncover the truth. [SOLOn]
